Welcome to my website! I am thrilled that you are here! I am a Virginia native, but have lived all over the country, and love an adventure traveling for my photography career.
I am married to the love of my life, Forrest, and we have a blended family of 8 children, and our spoiled rotten springer spaniel, Ruby. We have a full and wonderful life in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, where we love to go on hikes and enjoy nature, as well as performing together as an acoustic guitar singing duo.
I've been a professional photographer since 2002, but have had a camera in my hands capturing life for as far back as I remember. Photography is a lifelong passion, and I love sharing that love and creativity with my clients.
my shooting style
I am quirky, chatty, and find joy and beauty in just about everything I see, and I love to make my clients feel like they have known me forever. My clients more often than not become lifelong friends, and I get the pleasure of photographing so many of their life events, the whole circle of life. I treasure every client I am blessed to photograph. I love to help make their experiences comfortable and fun, whether it is a family portrait session singing Baby Shark for a toddler, or on a wedding day photographing guests while breaking it down to the Cupid Shuffle on the dance floor, there is nothing I will not do to get the best photos possible to capture that moment forever!
